HOW TO
Pastry –
serves: 20-30 – preparation time: 45 minutes – cooking time: 15-20 minutes
Preheat
the oven to 338 degrees F (170 degrees C).
Add the
diary butter and sugar to a bowl.
Add the
cinnamon, ginger and anise to the bowl.
Beat the egg
and add to the bowl.
Add the
flour, baking powder and almonds/hazelnuts.
Stir and
knead the dough until it becomes a cohesive ball.
Put the
dough ball in a cooler for 30 minutes.
Roll the
dough out until it becomes a rectangle of 1 cm thick.
Cut the
dough in pieces of 1 by 2 by 4 by 5
cm.
Bake the dumkes 15-20 minutes in the oven.
